

According to Forbes Mexico (2022), Mexico needs to build 800,000 homes annually to close its housing gap. Albert Saiz, MIT professor, points out that this requires increasing construction investment by 1% of GDP and urgently addressing informal housing.
But today, the cost of social housing in Mexico is around 60k USD (Eje Central, 2025), with an average size of 60 m². How can we respond to this demand in a sustainable and accessible way?
